Health

All rats are healthy to the best of my knowledge at the time of adoption. They are raised in a clean home environment, handled regularly, and carefully socialized. Because rats are living animals, I cannot guarantee future health, lifespan, or protect against illnesses or injuries that may occur after they leave my care.

Adopter Agreement

• My rats will be kept indoors in a safe, appropriate enclosure.
• My rats will always be housed with same-sex companions unless medically necessary.
• Fresh food, clean water, enrichment, and appropriate veterinary care will be provided throughout their lives.
• These rats are being adopted as pets and will not be intentionally bred.
• If I am ever unable to keep my rats, I will contact Raining Rats Rattery before rehoming or surrendering them.
• I understand that domestic rats cannot survive if released outdoors and agree that they will never be intentionally released.

Acknowledgement

I understand that adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment and that unexpected veterinary or care expenses may arise. I have had the opportunity to ask questions and am satisfied with the condition of my adopted rats at the time of adoption.
