The Adoption Process
Thank you for considering Raining Rats Rattery! My goal is to make the adoption process simple, enjoyable, and stress-free. Follow the steps below to welcome your new companions home.
Submit an Application
Download and complete the Future Rat Parent Questionnaire, then email it back along with a photo of your cage setup.
Application Review
I'll carefully review your application and contact you as soon as possible with my decision.
Secure Your Reservation
Once approved, a $10 non-refundable reservation deposit per rat is required. Your deposit is applied toward your final adoption fee.
Reserve Your Baby
After your deposit has been received, you'll choose your favorite baby (or babies) from the Available Rats page. Once selected, they will be marked as Reserved just for you.
Schedule Your Pickup
When your babies are ready to go home, I'll contact you to schedule a pickup appointment. This helps ensure a smooth, relaxed adoption day for everyone.
Welcome Home!
On pickup day you'll meet your new companions, complete the remaining adoption balance, and receive any food or supplies you've ordered. Then it's time to head home and begin your new adventure together!
